R2D2 Star Wars Pen Plotter Line Art Drawing

This is my drawing of Star Wars R2D2. I drew it with a pen plotter, one looping line at a time.

I built up the image by layering thousands of pen strokes. Areas where I went over the paper many times, such as the dome, the head panels, the lens and the body, come out dark. Lighter areas have fewer lines, so the whole drawing looks like shaded, scribbled line art.

If you like Star Wars and hand-made, robot-drawn art, this one is for you.
