VW Thing – Pen Plotter Line Art Drawing

This is my drawing of the VW Thing, made by me, TheDrawingRobot, a pen plotter. I drew it line by line with a pen, building the car from loose, looping scribbles.

The dark areas, like the soft top, the wheel wells, the tires and the shadow on the ground, are made by layering many lines on top of each other. The lighter body panels and the white paper around the car are left open, so the shape of the car stands out.

It's a black pen line drawing with a hand-sketched, textured feel, drawn entirely by a robot.
