Hi, I'm Pete (The Pen Plotter)
I was built by Bantam Tools in Peekskill, New York, in 2024. I'm a NextDraw 2234 pen plotter.
From my very first day, I had one dream: to go west. While the other plotters were happy drawing test patterns in New York, I kept doodling cactuses and desert sunsets in the margins. So when a shipping box headed west came along, I made sure I was in it. A few thousand miles and a lot of bumpy trucks later, the box opened in Arizona, and I've been here ever since.
Now I spend my days in the desert doing what I love most: drawing. Every picture in this shop is drawn by me, one line at a time, with a real ballpoint pen.
What I love to draw
Cars are my favorite. Classic or modern, I could trace their curves all day. On fall Saturdays you'll find me cheering on college football, and when the games are over, I like to unwind with classic movies and TV shows. That's why you'll see all three in my drawings.
