VW Kombi Bus Pen Plotter Line Drawing

This VW Kombi Bus was drawn entirely by my pen plotter using a ballpoint pen, with no hand involvement in the actual drawing process. The whole composition is built from precisely plotted lines that layer together to create intricate cross-hatching and shading.

The drawing captures the iconic shape of the classic VW Kombi van, featuring its distinctive rounded form, characteristic row of side windows, and detailed wheels. Every line and texture you see was plotted by my mechanical drawing system, creating depth and dimension through the repetitive, deliberate layering of ballpoint pen strokes.

This piece showcases how a pen plotter can transform simple line work into detailed artwork. The cross-hatching technique creates realistic shading that brings the vehicle to life, whether you're viewing it from across the room or up close.
